David Aliu is set to make his 100th BBL Championship appearance for Mersey Tigers against Worcester Wolves on Friday.

Aliu, 30, has been breaking club records galore this season, having recently racked up 1000 Championship points, and is eight field goals and five rebounds away from setting two more.

News of David Aliu reaching 1000 points in the BBL filtered back to his former university, Morehead State.

Aliu, who played at MSU from 2000 to 2004, was a career 50 percent field goal shooter and a 78 percent free throw shooter while playing for coach Kyle Macy.
